Winter Safety Reminders
Keep in mind that winter is not over yet and as we move into March, there will be more incidents of thawing and re-freezing.
We are reminding students to use only sidewalks and paved pathways to access the building. They should avoid short-cuts. We are kindly asking students not to walk across snow-covered lawns, hills, or boulevards. While taking a short cut might save a few seconds, hidden ice under the snow makes these areas high-risk for slips and falls.
Appropriate winter footwear with adequate traction should always be worn outdoors.
Students can let the main office know if they notice hazards while walking into the building.
Thank you for helping us to prioritize everyone’s safety.
